The following thought suddenly came to my mind out of the blue today. Maybe it's b'cos I watched too many TV series lately (while taking my dinners). :P
I would phrase it as “Behind each woman's misery are the failed expectations she put in a man."
I will grossly generalize here, but men seem to have fairly simple expectations of a woman. As a female Japanese friend told me: "Women are a decoration for a man's arm. She must be pretty and keep quiet." I am sure men in "progressive" countries will complain, I think it is largely true.
Women, on the other hand, seem to dream of a prince charming, who will sweep them off their feet, and give them a life happily ever after. Freeing them of responsibilities; or, at least, the ones they don't like, like killing spiders and moving heavy furniture.
An interesting theme I have noticed in women is that they seem to like "hunters". They want to be "pursued" and then "caught". Then they hope that they will domesticate this predator. Of course, it does not happen, once the predator has consumed his catch, he will set off in pursuit of new game, leaving the remains behind.
Prince said: "It depends on how you look @ it though.."
How would you look at it?

Hahahaha.... good analogy. So miseries of women continue ya...
